When I was teaching,  it was discouraging to see  students being pushed by their parents to achieve a level they were incapable of.  This unrealistic pressure just made the student unhappy and very unmotivated. Imagine a Special Needs child being told he could have a new toy IF he reached a certain level.  All his teachers knew he was always doing his best and had to witness the child&#039;s confidence deflate as he realized the new toy would never be.</description>
